A 10-day annual multi-genre Arts Festival in Noosa. Fri 14- Sun 23 June, 2013.

Pre-Release Events will be announced Friday 22 March 2013, ahead of the full program announcement on 3 May.

The Noosa Longweekend festival presents a diverse program of events which in its ten years has attracted some of the best Australian and international performers, writers, film-makers, musicians, artists, chefs, environmentalists and commentators.

In 2012 audiences were treated to the crème de la crème of Australian talent including names such as: John Bell, Bruce Beresford, Andrew Denton, Peter FitzSimons, Jennifer Byrne, Anthony Garcia, William Barton, Expressions Dance Company and more, as well as an unprecedented line-up of international performers hailing from Quebec, New York and London.

Now recognised as one of Australia’s foremost regional cultural events, The Noosa Longweekend Festival was launched in 2002 by a local group of creative visionaries wanting to blend their passions with the beautiful environment that is Noosa. The Festival’s founding members include prominent Australian playwright David Williamson, author Kristin Williamson, internationally renowned violinist Brett Dean, environmental activist Dr Michael Gloster, restaurateur Leonie Palmer-Fischer together with Rick Clayton and Ros McCauley.
